Sexual Violence and Organizational Accountability: A Workshop & Strategy Session

  • HI Hostel Chicago 24 East Congress Parkway Chicago, IL, 60605 United States

Have you found yourself wondering how to address sexual harm in your organization?

Do you struggle to create a plan of action when conflicts arise?

How do you assess your organization’s readiness to engage with an accountability process around conflict and harm?

Join Shira Hassan and the members of Just Practice Collaborative for a day-long discussion about these issues. The discussion is not an introduction to transformative justice and is appropriate for participants who are already engaged in community accountability processes (either in their personal or work lives).

Some of the key questions that will be addressed include:

  • What do we do when our work is impacted by sexual harm?
  • How do we handle things organizationally when conflict happens?
  • What are ways that conflict can be a resource in an organization? How can it build our capacity and strength instead of depleting it?
  • What are the ways it can eat away at our capacity and structure?
